FOR GENERAL VISITORS
–Is the museum open to the public? Yes! The Museum is open to the public, but only by appointment. You can also visit MUDESC during special events. Check our Facebook and Instagram pages to find out about upcoming events.
-What are the opening days and hours for visitors? The Museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (last admission by 1:00 p.m.).

• Saturday and Sunday: visits possible on request and by appointment
Reservations must be made by email at museodellascuola@unimc.it or via WhatsApp at +39 391 714 5274, indicating date, time and number of participants.
-How much does a ticket cost?
• Visit: € 5,00 per person.
• Guided tour: € 7,00 per person.
• Tour and workshop activities of your choice: € 8,00 per person.
All workshops for the public are described and constantly updated in the section of the website: For general visotors. Payment is made on site via POS.
-Are there any reductions on the ticket price? Yes, the categories entitled to free tickets are listed on the “For the public” page.
FOR SCHOOLS
-What are the opening days for schools? The museum is open for schools by appointment (museodellascuola@unimc.it) from Tuesday to Friday according to the timetable shown on the “For schools” page.
–What are the opening hours for schools? For schools, the museum is only open in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Schools can book the first slot (9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.) or the second slot (11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.). The slot times can be changed to suit the specific needs of the school.
-What workshops are offered for schools and how much do they cost? The educational offer for schools is constantly updated on the ‘Activities and workshops’ page. Prices can be found on the For schools page.
–Can I pay directly on site on the day of the visit? No, schools only pay after the visit by bank transfer on the PagoPA platform. All instructions are contained in the form that can be downloaded from the Reservations and payments page.
–I am a teacher: who should make the bank transfer? The bank transfer can be made by the school’s administrative office or by a private individual (the teacher) via the PagoPA platform or by bank transfer. All instructions are contained in the form that can be downloaded from the Bookings and payments page.
–Are there any reductions on the ticket price? Yes, the categories entitled to free tickets – such as teachers – are listed on the For schools page.
FOR EVERYONE
–Is booking required? Yes, it is always necessary to book by emailing museodellascuola@unimc.it or via WhatsApp on +39 391 714 5274.
–How long does the visit take? The visit lasts a maximum of 45 minutes, plus any workshop activities.
–How long does an educational workshop last? The workshop lasts between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the workshop chosen.
–Can photos or videos be taken inside the museum? Yes, both students and adults can take photos and videos of the rooms and exhibits.
–Can the exhibits be touched? Yes, but always with the permission of the staff. During the workshops, some materials can be handled.
–Can luggage, bags and/or rucksacks be brought into the museum? Yes, the museum has a small cloakroom area where you can store your personal belongings. However, please avoid bringing excessively large items of luggage to the museum.
–Can I purchase tickets online? No, this option is not currently available.
